Below: Once again, cruising the halls of Markstein you never know who you are going to run into! Another one of my favorite former students, Frederik Jahr, stopped by to see the campus. A 2016 CoBA graduate, Frederik is a member of the Tyrving Track Club, the premium professional club in Norway. As a high jumper at CSUSM, he was an All American.  highjump

Alumnus Spotlight

Nathan Leathers is a highly successful CoBA alumnus that recently moved into a 20,000 square foot facility in Escondido. After touring his new facility, I can’t speak highly enough about this young man and all that he has accomplished as President of Green Guard Services, employing over 60 people locally. They perform hood cleaning, filter exchange and kitchen equipment cleaning for commercial kitchens and restaurants all over the US. What is most impressive is the use of automation and software in everything that he does, in order to optimize his business processes, as well as the culture he has built with his team. He is a definite leader in his industry in the US and is about to launch a “best practices” training school for his industry. Not satisfied with one business, he also is President of Green Guard Merchant Services providing equipment, portals, on-site support, installation of equipment, and consultation of best business solutions.

Remember that name and this face, Nathan Leathers.
